It's a personal website. It's an experiment. It's the first step in a long-range strategic plan for complete global domination.
Hi, welcome to fuzzydog!!
Believe it or not, I'm not as crazy as all that. And no, I won't pretend that a dog is behind this website. I don't even own a dog **gasp!!**.
I heard somewhere that every single day, 17,000 new domain names are registered for the Internet. It's an amazing figure, but can you imagine how many Web SITES go up every day? There's the obvious ones, of course, like pedigree.com, but some aren't so obvious, like members.aol.com/lifegard/petfood/. Which site address are YOU most likely to remember? Anyway, with as much web development work as I'd been doing, getting my own domain name didn't sound like such a bad idea after a while. So, like it or not, here 'tis.
In way of explaining the site's name, I should say that there really is a "fuzzydog." His name's Shadoe and he's a Portuguese Water Dog that's been in the family for years. Cute, but a bit clumsy and extremely neurotic. Naming this site after him made a lot of sense to me. For all you curious types, we've posted Shadoe's biography on this site, but for those of you who just want a quick look, here's a pic:
