It's a bold statement, but one that's heard a lot by those of us who live in the San Francisco Bay Area.  Mostly we hear it because of local CBS affiliate KPIX, who uses the motto in their advertising, but hey, SOMEBODY'S got to say it! 

Is it true?  Is this the best place on Earth?  Depends on who you are, of course, but you'd have to do a lot of talking to convince me otherwise.  The combination of weather, culture, business, arts, and entertainment here in The Bay makes for great living, and if you can handle all the quirkiness that goes along with this area, then you're home.
