BAY-CAMS
Below are "live-cam" shots of the San Francisco Bay Area, taken from various locations around the Bay. Each of these cameras is updated regularly throughout the day (hit "reload" on your browser to update). If you come by and the picture is pitch black, it's probably because it's nighttime here in the Bay Area. If you come by and the picture is pure white, it's probably because of fog. Cool, huh?
This view is from KPIX's Battery Street studios, overlooking the San Francisco Bay, above the Embarcadero. It is sometimes pointed inward at the City for views of Coit Tower and the Transamerica Pyramid. During the afternoon, it is pointed at the Bay Bridge and zoomed in close to see what the afternoon commute is looking like.
Here's a shot from the Bay, coming to you from Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. The shot comes courtesy of the Wax Museum at the Wharf.
This shot gives a current view of both Coit Tower and Alcatraz Island, and is brought to you by the Employment Law Forum of California.
