August, 1999 - The Upcountry Maui Kids

Yes yes, welcome indeed...nice to have you all back for another month of our little POM activities!  This month, our POM goes to another litter (brood?  family?) of animals, The Upcountry Maui Kids, aka Jax-n-Boots.  These "JRTerrors" (Jack Russell Terriers) live and play in the great state of Hawaii (we're jealous), and possess that lovely combination of puppy playfulness and island attitude.  Woof!!  If you don't believe us, go check out The Upcountry Maui Kids Website yourself.  In the meantime, check out this little preview...

You are owned by a Jack Russell Terrier if....

~ You no longer buy dark clothing.
~ You keep a stock of masking tape hair pick-up rollers handy.
~ Your yard looks like a federal prison.
~ Your favorite household appliance is the shop-vac
~ You can't see out of your car windows because of the DNPs (dog nose prints).
~ You no longer notice all that barking and jumping when someone shows up at the door.
~ You're able to carry on a phone conversation with barking in the background.

~ At the beach you carry your own "beware of holes, watch your step" signs to warn other beach goers.
